CI 554: e-Learning
CI 554: e-Learning covers the unique challenges and opportunities that are
presented by web-based instruction. The focus is on web-based training in business and web-delivered
or web-enhanced (blended) learning in higher education. The course covers both theory and practice, as
students will apply instructional design principles in creating e-Learning materials. As such, CI 554 is
built around a course-long group project.
In its first offering we worked with an ElderCare group in Southern California to develop an online certification course for home health care workers.
